Grant Writing Part Time Internship

Everything Policy is looking to hire individuals for their Grant Writing part-time remote internship to start ASAP. This is a paid internship with a monthly stipend for $500 per month for an average of 8 hours per week (roughly $15 per hour). an average of 8 hours per week (roughly $15 per hour).

Who we’re looking for:

We are looking for college students (both undergraduate and graduate level) with at least a 3.0 GPA that have prior work experience and/or extra curricular involvement on their campus. We are open to all majors but believe students studying business, communications, humanities/language, social sciences or government may be the best fit for this internship.

Interpersonal Skills — You have strong verbal and written communication skills (including strong research skills), can handle conflict, work in a team setting and bring a positive attitude to your work.

Attention to Detail — You are very thorough in your work and don’t tolerate mistakes.

What the role entails:

To research various family funds, corporations and non-profit foundations’ grant cycles and giving histories, and manage our organization’s applications for each potential funding source.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain detailed understanding of organizational programs, fundraising strategies, partnerships, and goals to create strong grant proposals that help support our organizational fundraising targets.
  • Research new grant opportunities that align with our mission, vision, and values.
  • Enter and monitor data to maintain a list of new grant opportunities, constantly ensuring information is up-to-date.
  • Prepare grant proposals by determining concept, gathering and formatting information, writing drafts, incorporating feedback, and obtaining approvals.
  • Determine proposal concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs, studying requests for proposal (RFPs), and attending strategy meetings.
  • Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, approval, and transmittal.
  • Coordinate with relevant team members and contribute proposal status information to team meetings.
  • Write, revise, and edit drafts including executive summaries, funding proposals, conclusions, and organization credentials.
  • Maintain quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone.
  • Obtain approvals by reviewing proposals with key managers.
