Policy Education Program

DESIGNED Exclusively for High School and undergraduate Students

The Policy Education Program provides students with an immersive educational experience that goes beyond traditional classroom learning. Students gain an appreciation for how public policy impacts the world around them, and the importance of gaining skills to better assess the information in which they are confronted with on a daily basis. This foundational knowledge allows for thoughtful discourse with parents, friends and classmates increasing the likelihood for civic engagement. Our interactive course materials are prepared by university professors, industry experts with commercial experience and researchers. The comprehensive packages include the policy content itself, in addition to a syllabus, presentation material, group-based exercises, quizlets and other supporting material.

Program Highlights:

  • Policy Areas: Students explore a wide variety of policy topics including but not limited to Business and Economy, Education, Energy and the Environment, Civil Liberties and Rights, Internet and Media, Taxes and Spending, National Security and Defense, Social Issues and more.
  • Easy-to-understand Format: All materials are geared towards a 10th-grade reading level to ensure students grasp key information while gaining confidence in their ability to comprehend complex concepts.
  • Critical Thinking: Students have the opportunity to critically analyze policy information, understand the impact of policy issues, and explore potential solutions for real-world problems that impact their daily lives.
  • Inspire Civic Engagement: Students develop a solid foundation of policy knowledge and critical thinking skills to more confidently and thoughtfully engage with policy issues beyond the classroom.

our goal

We envision a future where the next generation of citizens embrace public policy discussion, openly seek out and take into consideration information from a variety of perspectives, including those views they may not have initially thought relevant or agree with, to more effectively solve the world’s most complex problems.
